Take Care finally dropped today Nov.15th, and to me it is THE BEST album of the year. Although many people may argue and say that Drake is a complete waste of time, for the only reason because he is “mainstream”, I will definitely have a good argument with them and prove them wrong and how him being “mainstream“ has nothing to do with his talent he has. Drake is a rap/hip hop artist who is literally unlike any other rapper in the game right now. His lyrics, thoughts, ideas, and just the type of person he is such an inspiration to me and I ; like a lot of people, like him a lot because we feel like we can completely compare ourselves to him or even have issues or events that relate to the ones he’s been through.
Drake would have to be the leading artist right now in the rap/hip hop game. Not a lot of people knew about Drake prior to his recent songs which is a real disappointment cause the kid has talent. His new album Take Care is predicted to set sales records, which just like his previous album Thank Me Later also achieved. On the other hand it may not do so good due to the fact it was leaked online about two weeks before the release date so a lot of people downloaded it free online which I feel like if you were a true fan to him you would go support him and buy his album. So far Take Care has yet to disappointment me, all the songs on this album can honestly be a hit, best song I love from this album would have to be either “Crew Love” ;which features my other favorite artist The Weeknd, or “The Motto” featuring Lil’ Wayne; who would have to be the main reason for Drake’s fame. BUY THIS ALBUM!
