Texting has become something that is somewhat of a craze to do! Texting is everywhere,  you see people texting in class, at work, walking, at the movie theaters, while with there friends, families , even while driving! Texting is such a big part of current peoples lives since we are such a more electronic friendly era. I think the person who did event texting was a genius. I mean think about it, when the pager was around everyone thought that was cool, and look at us now. We all have cell phones where you can make phone calls from almost anywhere. You can also text someone so you wont have to call and disturb them while they are in a meeting or anything like that. Basically all you need to simply do is type in what you basically want the receiver to know and almost instantly they receive your private message without disturbing hardly anyone. It is very convenient and sometimes I think too convenient. It was definitely not safe when drivers were getting the habit of texting and driving, and this resulting in accidents. I am quite glad the new laws of either being on your cell phone or texting while driving is prohibited and will not be tolerated by law enforcements.  Texting is fun and could make the time go by fast if you needed to be distracted or even if you needed advice but couldn’t talk. But I feel people should text responsibly and am glad laws have been made to assure safety on the roads.
